200 miles! Jesus. My back will be killing me afterwards, having to put up with my poverty spec seats.

Pah - the two Scottish meets I've been on have both been about 1,300 miles... Though admittedly 1,000 of them where getting to and from Scotland :D

Still, 300 miles each, including getting to the start point and home from the finish. Sunday's Sussex run was about 120 miles of driving, but close to 200 including getting to the start and back. On the rights roads the miles just fly by

Just wondered what sort of mileage you do on your Essex trip Jonny, I wouldn't mind coming down for a nice day out but I live near Felixstowe, which is a good run down to start with, I used to live near Romford 7 years ago until I moved to Suffolk, did I see last year you ended up at Southend somewhere along the front cheers Andy

Cruises are usually around 200 miles round trip or under. that includes getting there and home for me

As long as there are fuel stops that's ok the ///M won't do that on one tank of fuel

I live in Kesgrave but have to drive close to Felixstowe to get on the A14, think if I said Felixstowe most people would of heard of that as opposed to my little area, we should have a Suffolk get together on our country lane/roads would be great

I'll be keeping a lookout for you then, I've got a forum sticker on my windscreen (top drivers side) and Yeh a Suffolk meet that would be cool! And maybe you'd be kind enough to take me out in your ///M as I've not been out in one before

Yeah sure as long as it's sunny day go for a spin down the A12, my son has a very immaculate 3.0l SE fully loaded in silver also, we went out for a cruise tonight with our roofs down lots of people staring at 2 zed's together

Srhutch didn't fuel his on Sunday - he got 23/24 mpg as well, and we were most definitely not driving slowly...

All the way from Dartford(ish), the Sussex run (including detour/lost) and home again in just over half a tank in the M3. According to the trip computer exactly 30mpg which I thought was damn good

If you do a Suffolk meet let me know in advance and I'll try to also get back to the Motherland. Usually in Stowmarket, Bucklesham or Elmsett areas when home visiting friends and family.

I am in Ipswich also . Thought I was only Suffolk member on here. Certainly be up for a local meet :-)
