Error Codes (2005 Z4)

Hi guys,

I'm hoping somebody here will be able to help me. I just purchased an error code reader to see why my 'EML' light was on. After I got it working, I got the following two codes returned :-

- P101B
- P1061

For the first code, I found this "Mass air flow circuit range/perf. -
Input analog (0-5V) - Failed signal range check against
predefined diagnostic limits."

For the second code, I can only find this "Variable valve timing (WT), bank 1 - limp-home mode - circuit malfunction"

Has anybody got any ideas on exactly what the codes mean and what my issue might be? Have just spent £500 or so on getting other repairs done so am hoping this isn't going to be anything too pricey.

Yes it was yellow. I reset it a few days ago, have done circa 70 miles since but it's not re-occurred. Hopefully it was just a blip and nothing to worry about.
 
I have a similar glitch, the computer coughs up a yellow eml (linked to a lambda sensor that seems to be sensitive to wet weather) every few months. It disappears after a few days. I don't take any notice of it now.
