Error code 9D00.

Hi, picked up a salvaged 35i a few weeks ago and have managed to almost sort the body work out. It runs and drive fine but decided to see what error codes I am getting.

I cleared the all the faults ,went for a drive and then checked which faults remained.

Amongst them is error 9D00: Fault in DWABUS. Sometimes, when locking the car the alarm goes off so I unlock and lock and seems to be fine (clown nose flashing every 2 seconds). On top of that, I thought I would activate auto fold door mirrors with NCSExpert. The problem now is that every time I fold the mirrors by holding the locking button on the remote the alarm goes off sooner after. The alarm doesn't go off if I don't fold the mirrors. So I am thinking it's to do with the fault code.

Has anyone dealt with this fault code? From my understanding is that there modules in both doors (can I see them just by taking the door cards off?) and the siren in the front bumper. There are signed the passenger door card has been removed so will start there to check the connections to the DWA module but looking at videos of people changing speakers I don't see any DWA module when they take the door card off (maybe they don't have the alarm system!).

Am I looking in the right place?

Just to close this issue : took the door card off on the passenger side as ista was saying no communication with micowave sensor on near side. Found that the connector to the sensor was not plugged but masking taped to the the cable harness. Plugged it back in and added new seal sheet as there wasn’t one. Cleared the error and all working fine. Bought a used sensor just in case but did not need to use it. Now no error code and no alarm going off when foldind the mirrors on locking.

Onto the roof problem next to replace the microswitches as getting error code a692.
