Error code 2882 2883 fuel pressure regulator?

So I've had the engine management light come on a few times in recent weeks and have been clearing the error with a cheap Obd2 gizmo off ebay. The light hower remained on this week and I took the zed to a garage for a proper diagnostic and it came back wirh a 2882 and 2883 error code. Im my research I've found out a probable cause is the fuel pressure regulator and not (at first thought the lamda o2 sensors). Can anyone confirm this as my hunch is that the o2 sensors are fine but something else is causing the error?

Cheers, all seems to add up. I think a good inspection of all of the intake is necessary and a maf clean wouldn't hurt. Thanks for the post.

I've just been down to the garage and checked things over, my research said 'look for vacuum leaks' and bloody hell look what I found, a ruddy great split in one on the hoses! I've temporarily sealed it with silicone for a quick fix butwill source a new hose shortly. Thanks for the posts cheers.

Comman fault, I had the same and sounds like a whistle when running...under thirty quid and easy DIY change thankfully...:-)

Did mine last year. Had to order from Dealer as not on the Shelf, but was around the £25 mark and easy to self fit (although your Jubilee clip looks a bit rusty, so may be worth investing in a new one - or two) ?

Think it's item 5
