Error 2a82 and 2a98 - HELP? 3.0si

Hi all,

About 3k miles ago I changed all my spark plugs and coils.

Two days ago I got these two errors while city driving, I've cleaned them up and did about 10miles, error seems to be gone.

However, what could be the reason? I wonder if it will pop up again.

I am not super technically inclined but I've been able to change thermostats, oils and filters in my previous rides. Which parts should I check/replace for preventive maintenance on this?

Vanos code would suggest it needs cleaning in the first intance, threads on here to see how to.
Crankshaft sensor starting or has failed, put a new one in only use a oem brand such as Bosch, dont use cheap unkown brands.

As above. That points to a failing vanos solenoid. Try cleaning and swapping them over (intake to exhaust) and seeing if that clears or if the fault moves the the exhaust side. If so then you’ll need to replace. It’s worth doing both if you do replace.
