Epic Road Trip :-) pic heavy

Had an early start today and drove from home 100 miles to meet Mr Wilks and Z4MO for our Road Trip through the Ribble Valley, Trough of Bowland, looking down on the Flyde Coast and Morecombe Bay, then inland via Ingleton into the Yorkshire Dales over Melham Moor into Settle then left the Dales behind us, back over Bowland Fells ind into the Ribble Valley again over 170 miles on the route below before topping up my fuel in Bury and another 100 odd miles back home for a feet up evening with my friend Malbec :drinkwine: :drinkwine: 370+ miles for me all in all

We’ve driven some of the finest roads I’ve been on in a long time and some of the best scenery too, undulating, fairground ride, dipping, stomach churning roads, sweeping long bend roads, single track country roads, sheep, cows and a nice boozer for lunch, I already knew Andy but it was my first chance to meet Z4MO and his wonderful ///MR 8) what a great guy, a top, top day, thanks for planning the route Andy

Looks awsome... not much point of taking any from my journey today of the heavy rain & heavy traffic all around the North Circular.

Definitely a day for the memory bank today , just 100% enjoyable (company + cars ) from the meet at 9-15am to parting company at 4pm .
Every mile covered with a smile , weather was kind , roads were quiet , cars were faultless & the ham ,egg & chips at lunch memorable too
Ive covered the same routes & roads so many times yet still find myself WoWed every time i go on them . Wales & Scotland are both great but Lancashire / Yorkshire has just as much to offer if you know where to go .
Already looking forward to my next outing
