Just returned home from Sheffield via the Peaks today, I couldnt believe how much water there was flooding down the roads. At some points it must have been 3 to 4 inches deep, definately the worst conditions caused by rain that I have ever driven in.
The car held it together though and got me home safetly. Journeys like that seem to make me bond with a car more than going on a norm drive. Couldnt resist giving the old girl a pat when I got home!
