Epic day out with the boys toys

So having driven the M40i yesterday my neighbour took me out for a spin in his DB9 Volante [only 13k on the clock ]
He decided to leave the Porsche Speedster in the garage -nice dilemma to have i guess
Wow does that car make one incredible noise on full chat -quite a stiff chassis too for a Gt car -feels very special to be in
Everyone turned round to look and point at the car as it wafts past -and smilled and waved -which i used to get all the time in my Caterham but never in my Z
Oh yes forgot to mention this was on the way to the local airfield to have a wee jolly is his plane -a new Nynja
Trust me it feels just a bit cool pulling up at the airfiield in the Aston top down
Then we went up and flew around the local area for an hour or so taking in the sights
No clouds or turbulence -just glorious TBH
Even had a go on the controls which was rather fun
Just a stunning day to be in the sky looking down over Perthshire and Angus
Even managed to buzz SWMBO in the garden
I can see why people easily get the flying bug on days like this - i want one -the Aston and the Nynja that is
Still buzzing and grinning from this experience
Cant wait to go up again ...

Sounds like a great way to spend and day though. Buzzing the SWMBO in the garden, has to be a price less moment. :lol: The DB9 is on my list of must own cars. I just love the interior and the exterior sooo much. The fact that they drive so well, is the icing on the cake. 8)

Problem is, I still enjoy my ///MR too much, after eight, fantastic, trouble free, years of running it, to stump up 40k to replace it. :wink:
