Just reading on the Dutch Z forum about some of the Z lot, just "popping" over the boarder into Germany for an unnlimited blast over the motorways there.
Is a strait road with no turns with some sections of unlimited speed really all that exciting? Isn't a twisty back road much more fun, even with a speed limit?
You can't beat the trip to the mountains on unlimited roads though ... Don't know about you, but driving the car at its maximum speed - especially knowing that it is illegal everywhere else - gives a thrill as well.
I am going to the Fatherland in September - third week. Renting a Z4 Coupe - cannot find a Z4M. Going to do the castle route in Bavaria. Can't wait to let the 3.0 loose even though I wish it was my 3.2 on the prowl!!
