Hello. I had a great meet up with Peter (B21) this morning. Nice to finally meet the face behind the name. We discussed my absence from the forum and he indirectly convinced me to drop in again. (Something about me being 'a notable exception'?)
I was on holiday when the big change happened and with dodgy wifi and only my phone to view the forum on, I simply decided to look when I got home. Then I found over the next couple of weeks that it was refreshing to have a break. Many reasons tbh, but the main one was I didn't get frustrated every day by people asking the same old questions and not listening to the answers!
Tbh, I still don't find it so easy to view on my phone, but the laptop is fine.
I certainly wasn't 'sulking' and in fact, regarding the 'difficulty in helping people' insinuation, I have had eleven different zeds on my drive in the last two weeks, with five more booked in (3x suspension refreshes and 2x roof motor relocations).
So anyway, did I miss anything?

Welcome back @enuff_zed are you still potentially travelling to Salisbury at some stage? I remember you did have something planned before.

I wasn’t booked in, I think you had some people in Salisbury booked. I’m down the road in Bournemouth with springs and dampers to fit. Now all assembled with thanks to @Zedebee (so I may now try to pop these on).
Also I have fresh 3.0si calipers discs etc F&R to fit and I’m nervous to mess with brakes as a first timer, especially living on a hill!
Anyway I might just get my mechanic to fit them next week in time for simply bmw, beaulieu.
Otherwise would be good to meet if you’re local with Zs.
I tend to mention on here if I'm doing a trip so keep watching this space.
