Entyre Revelation....

Just been for my first drive after getting rid of the run flats :driving: :D ! Wow, what a difference, less road noise and although the ride is still firm (as you would expect from a sports car) instead crashing along it feels as though the sharp edges have been taken off and its a lot more bearable, the suspension and tyres now seem to be working together. A big thank you to the forum as I would probably have lived with the runflats had I not been on here!!

On a slightly different note, whilst the car was up in the air getting its new shoes, I noticed that the plastic arm of the headlight level sensor has broken (front right). I guess these aren't expensive or difficult to replace, but does anyone know what the part number might be?

I went for what seems the be the most popular on here, i.e. Falken 452s (from camskill)! Something like £360 for all 4 tyres then £60 for balance, fitting and disposal. Not too bad really, I would definitely recommend them.

I'm sure how much demand there will be, but the front left runflat still had plenty of tread on it so I'll take some photos of it and put it in the for sale section when I get time.

Cheers cj10jeeper that looks something like it. I thought I would have to buy the entire assemble, so if it is just the arm I need to buy thats great. I guess I know now why oncoming traffic kept flashing me at night!!

Well done! I'm still on run flats as i only got my car 3 months ago. When it's time to change I will again go for 452's as I remember how much better my last Z felt on them. Also cheaper to get 4 x 452's than 2 x run flats!
