Hi All,
Well not how I planned it as I was building a track car (Audi TT Mk1 quattro) over the winter but to enter it in the championship it will need full roll cage etc which I hadn't planned for at this stage. The Audi would fall under class 3b for modified cars as its not TAX'd or MOT'd. I mentioned to the organisers that I have a Z4, following checks with one of the scrutineers he said its all good to be in class 1c which is road cars over 2000cc. All you need is an approved helmet and licence. So after adjusting the suspension (raising it up) so no rubbing on cornering, putting the required sticker around the ignition key barrel and buying another towing eye its ready to race.
Last weekend was an induction day to sprinting, I had already obtained my MSUK interclub licence so am looking forward to testing later this month with the championship starting in April.
This is a real easy way in to motorsport, if anyone is interested PM.
