Do not worry about any Severn Bridge Maintenance Closures. You will still be able to access the Services and the closure. ( I work at the Bridge !)
Please meet at Aust Services from 10am onwards for a coffee. (We will depart at 11am). If I get chance this week I'll prepare and print a couple of hand-outs, just in-case anyone gets separated, so you can at least get to the next meeting point.
Lunch at the Kings head is sorted. Approx 12:15 - 1:30pm
I know there are a few (Si-Forks, Wilbo & Adam83) meeting at various points. You 3 should have all had a PM from me just so you've got a contact phone number, for re-assurance if the group is delayed or plans change last minute.
With 18 or 19 cars in total, it may be an idea to split the group iinto sub-groups (i.e. 6 cars) between stages on the day, but all meeting up at the key points. (We'll never manage with 18 cars pulled over waiting for the last one exit a junction !)
Please let me know if anyone has to pull out, so we are not waiting ( send me a PM )
FInally, please read the thread on Cruise etiquette, so we all know the score ! http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=5280
I look forward to seeing you all on tomorrow
PS A £5 per car voluntary contribution all going the Forum running costs would be nice !
The anticipated route will be looping up around the River Severn and crossing at Gloucester, as shown below, then heading back down the Wye Valley.

The Plan
1) 10am Meet at Aust Services at M48 Jcn1 ((Costa & Burger King) Next to the Old Severn Bridge)
2) 11am Depart up A38 to Gloucester and cross the Severn at Over
3) Stop at The Kings Head in Birdwood for lunch (Point D on map - loads of parking)
4) Head across the Forest of Dean, via Speech House to Monmouth
5) Drop down into the scenic Wye Valley, past Tintern Abbey and head back to Chepstow.
6) Final Gathering & Farewell point at Chepstow Racecource Car Park around 4pm
This is about 2-3 Hrs solid driving alone, but with a convoy, lunch and stops about 4-5 hours journey from experience and bang on 100 miles. (No Bridge Tolls incurred either as only crossing it Eastbound.)
Lunch Stop.
