English/Welsh Meet - The Aftermath...

Just want to say a huge thank you No5, the group leaders and anyone else who helped organise the meet. Been looking forward to this for a while now and we all had a great time. The start point at Dick Lovett was the icing on the cake, the guys and girls gave us a very warm welcome, so friendly and accommodating for all our needs
Thoroughly enjoyed meeting up with new members and old ones alike.
Thanks also to the South East Hooners crew who made the run across country and stop over last night a real pleasure, great catching up with you guys and we'll def be meeting up real soon. :)
Safe drive home everyone and look forward to next time. :driving:

Well done Alan, thank you for putting so much effort in to make it a fantastic day  & good job by the group leaders keeping everybody together.
So nice to meet so many fellow Zedders, hope everyone got back home safely & looking forward to seeing all the photos.

Big thank you to Number5, Spikey and the team as well as Perry, Bing etc from the SE hooners group for all your time and organisational skills. We had a fab weekend and it was lovely to meet up with forummers I already know as well as get to know lots of new ones

Would just like to express our thanks to Alan and everybody else who organised a great day, and a fantastic event. Great scenery, good company and excellent fun. Looking forwards to the next time.
Also it was good to see the guys from the Midlands crew, hope to meet you all again at some point in the not too distant future.
Thanks once again from myself and Mrs. Merbrook.

Just got home 20mins ago, I can't feel my legs from all the driving

What a brilliant weekend, fantastic trip across yesterday and then out today with a quite staggering number of Zs - thanks so much to Alan and all the leaders today for arranging it and managing everything so well. I really enjoyed meeting a new bunch of people from the forum... Soooo many names to remember :dizzy:

Oh and Brad, despite all it's visual foibles, Marmite sounds awesome 8)

I've got quite a few pics, but I need fed so I'll get them up later / tomorrow.

Thanks again everyone

Thanks for the organisation and allowing me to bring two cars to the event. As Bing mentioned above, he enjoyed driving my car

I also enjoyed the company and driving my other car :D

I lost my Zed meet virginity today and what a way to do it! :D

Very many thanks for everyone for their company - special thanks to Alan for all of the organising and to Graham for being our leader.

Thanks again :driving:

I have to say, what a cracking turn out. Great to meet you all and to see some familiar faces.
Apologies for having to dash off, had to pick up the little ones from the in-laws.
Thank you No5 and co. for arranging this :)

Great day, throughly enjoyed...but for some reason I ended up leaving with the wrong crew (knew I was headed in the wrong direction after 5 mins, then typically thought f**k it....drove back up to Gloucester, then across to Oxford and back to the M25....15 hours driving in one day!

Thanks to all involved again today :)

My thanks and images are uploaded on Lux's thread: http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=76338

Great to meet you RickRob

Sorry we lost you in Bracknell... Though we did well to stay together for that long given how busy it was !

Can't believe I didn't introduce myself properly Theo - for some reason I still had your stripey coupé in my head and didn't click you were in a 35is now. Gorgeous car by the way, I hope my drool wiped off :P

Great day out, a nice route and the weather held out, well done to the organisers
Was good to meet all you guys I got round to chatting with and putting some faces to names.

Ah, so that was you...I thought we'd picked up any extra ///M Coupe to our group from somewhere

No worries - as you say we did well to stay together so long. No sooner had I lost sight of you, Perry & Cindy appeared. Don't know where they had been!

That's freaky, because as we joined the (M) road off the M4 I saw Perry waaaaaaay up ahead. He disappeared off and I swear we didn't pass him. Maybe he went the wrong way again, we made a habit of it in our little SE Hooner group :D

 I wondered why we had 9 on the way home, must have counted about a dozen times and couldn't work out why we had an extra car!!?

Thanks for a great day Alan, and nice to put some names to faces :D as as meeting some I hadn't seen for a while, like 2dogs, Ruby and Disca.

The South east has a nice contingent. Bing has also agreed to organise the same event next year in Kent
