English/Welsh Meet - The Aftermath...

Thinks grouping the //Ms would be a great idea and you can all set off last so you can catch up lol

As long as I haven't missed the cut, I'm still in.
As you have a lot of local knowledge, perhaps you could aid Bing with suggestions for the Saturday hoon through the cotswolds?

Perry and I have been chatting about this. We'll be going over on Saturday, setting off in the morning, could stop at Clackett Lane to collect a few cars, then hopefully picking Perry and a bunch up at Cobham services, then possibly the Essex / West London bunch at Reading services if we can get the timings right... With a mini hoon through the Cotswalds if we can manage it. Should be quite a convoy once we're done 8)

I actually just made all that up, but a plan is on my list to do, and I will start a separate thread for it - but it will be the weekend at the earliest, probably later before I can get round to starting.

Thanks Bing that would be helpful. Can meet you all at Reading if this plan works out. Now regarding hotels, if most are overnighting in one could be nice and social ...however can I suggest considering one with a spa :)

Someone needs to bring me up to date with the plan, but sure. I'd probably join that too :)

Id suggest The Aztec Hotel, Ruby. Very near to the meet,4/5 Star, Pool, Spa, sauna, steam room and all the treatments. Its where all the Pro football and rugby teams stay when playing the Bristol teams. (But not the fans...far too upmarket)

I had a look at that hotel but they're fully booked - guess there's matches that weekend

Like the idea of a group of MRs, though I fear that's a bit elitist and may be frowned upon

Hi Allan

Can you let me know what you plan for Saturday, hotel etc. might try and sweet talk Mrs hutch, but don't want to push my luck as she will be here with the girls.

Cheers

Steve

Then I'd next suggest the Holiday Inn at Filton (BS16 1QX) if you're looking for abit more than just a room. (They have a Pool, etc). Good safe parking away from any housing estates, etc.

Stuart Truman, we can have a wee chat sometime in the next couple of weeks, maybe a 3-way with Perry, as I can plan but have no TomTom :D

Rubes, we'll look after you. Won't even be an early start by the time we get to Reading :)
