England and Spain are playing in the final of the European Championship 2024 final later today. What are you expecting from this final? Can England win a major title since the 1966 World Cup?

Thanks for the heads-up! Completely forgot TBH. :D :D

How can you forget? All the terrible drivers are in front of the tv and the roads are empty

First Spanish win has been completed today at Wimbledon

3-1 Spain

England don’t deserve to be in the final!!!!
If England play like they have most of this tournament and manage to get a result it will be a sad day for football as a form of entertainment.

Spain have been the best team in the tournament. Entertaining to watch.

England have been terrible to watch. Lucky to get as far as they have. That penalty against the Dutch was one of the worst VAR decisions ever given. Mistakes like that should not happen.

2-1 England! 1-1 at full time.

The best team doesn’t always win these things. If you look at the teams Argentina beat on their run to the World Cup, it wasn’t particularly impressive and they got beaten by Saudi in their first game. Portugal weren’t great in 2016, neither were Italy in 2021. England 2024 8)

We’ve been rubbish but getting the results. Tournament football is abit nervy and results driven. I think a manager like Mourinho or Conte would do incredibly well in this format

Two games ago Southgate was 30 seconds away from being sacked.
If they manage to scrape through tonight (as it's the England way), he will be knighted.
Fickle is most definitely is!

The abuse Southgate and a number of players were getting a few days ago was toxic. The ITV commentators and panel were practically begging for Southgate to be sacked live on air during a game. It was embarrassing to watch.

Other media outlets were exactly the same. Now they are kissing backsides.

I expected an onslaught of support for England, but was pleasantly surprised by the honest statements. Oh by the way, Scotland beat Spain 2-0 in a warm-up game for these Euros. :)
