Not sure if there are many footie fans on here so this thread may drop down the forum quickly, but after getting sunburnt playing tennis all afternoon we're just about to crack open the beers for the game tonight...

I'm predicting a narrow England victory maybe 2-1, although Germany will propbably hit us hard in the next round if we get that far.

Predictions?
 
we'll get through the quarters but Gemany in the semi's i think we'll struggle but we have beaten them in the past in 66 :thumbsup:
 
I think there will be a few goals 2-2, then England on penalties.

Also it depends what England team walk out onto the pitch, the one that remembers basic skills like how to pass a ball to each other or the get the ball and hoof it squad. :|
 
From the beginning of the tournament Italy were my team, I'm clinging onto the past on my dads side :D , however I would like England to win tonight, I think it will be tight, 2-1 to England

Big footie fan and I too do not like Hansen - can't believe the amount of money the beeb are paying for his services.

Earlier Italian goal, spurring England into action ending 2-1 to England.

Hope Alex OC gets a run out - watched him live when he was at Southampton - such a talent.

Don't knock Hansen - he's a Sweaty who was good at football - not many of them about anymore!?! Better than Carragher on the other side.

0-0 Bore draw - England to win on pens.
 
If England beat Italy to go up against Germany in the Semi-Finals, the USA have announced plans to turn up half way through and take all the credit for the win..... :wink:
