Engine warning light- after new coils fitted

Hi,
I've had new coils fitted, bought the parts and have done the job, anyone know how to switch the warning light off? or will I have to beg BMW to do it?? thanks

I believe you can disconnect the battery negative terminal for a couple of minutes then reconnect, this should clear the light.

well amazingly enough it went out all by its self ! just as well as BMW want ed £60 quid to hook it up and turn the light off! thanks tho
