Engine Start Stop Button

Hi I'm looking to replace my start stop button and wondered if the one on the Z4 is a specific size or will any other BMW model fit the Z4?

Cool thanks for your help. There are also just the covers selling quite cheaply but there's not a lot for the Z4 but lots for other models.
 
Sorry to hijack but I wondered this too. From that ebay link I guess it's the same as the E90?

Mine functions perfectly but is looking a bit worn out (mainly the ring that sits just around the outside of the central button). Is replacing the whole unit the only option?

That looks great will maybe consider that.... I wonder if it's possible to replace the outer cover part and the ring without having to buy the whole fixture.... Had a look on eBay and there's so many I don't know which are going to be compatible or not :o
 
Also mine seems to be not the actual button itself that's worn but the black ring on the outside of the button? :D
 
The ring is removable if you take the switch out of the trim following the video. There's definitely folks on ebay selling rings seperately.
