Engine revs when hitting brakes

Hey guys, I've got an 04 2.5l z4 and been fixing a couple things on. Tried reading other posts about this but none of them solved my issue. I've got a p0102 code and whenever I step on the brakes, the engine bounces revs around 1000-1200. I changed the maf and that didn't solve it. Was wondering if anyone had some suggestions. Thanks

When I’ve had that (and it’s not the maf) it’s an air leak OR the breather vacuum hose collapsing in on itself that leads from the intake to the brake booster/vacuum assembly

Brake booster hose is ok and I cant find any obvious leaks from any hoses

Also, unplugged the brake switch but left the booster line connected and it didnt bounce in revs. kinda makes me think it has something to do with electrical too maybe.
