Christ I have just seen the price of this 10-60 stuff and you need 6L for an oil change too,noticed how the sneaks at castrol hiked the price then dropped the can size to 4L.Saw the gulf offer for 20L drum looks enticing,has anyone else used it I wonder.

Isn't TWS the stuff BMW actualy use in their dealerships?
Where as Edge is the retail available counterpart?

Not so much now I'm afraid - even with the member's discounts.

I've never got a satisfactory response from them as to why their 'fully synthetic from synthetic base stock' oils keep going up in price in line with those made from crude oil base stocks

I normally do one before a track day or 'Ring trip, but unless the car's been showing very high temps, then I don't do it until the next scheduled oil service (not BMW's schedule, but my own with a max of 7,000 miles between them).
