Engine number - where is it stamped?

Where is the engine number stamped on the engine on the Z4M's?
I can find a sticker with it on near the front on a bracket but not a stamped item.

Its on the back of the engine in between the firewall,

You can get a torch back there and see it but its better with a mirror,

Its on the UK drivers side of the engine
