Engine not starting straight away

Hi,

I wonder if anyone on here could shed some light on this.... Very infrequently, my engine will sort of stutter when you first start it, but then will run smoothly and all would be well for weeks.

First thing this morning it started ftom cold and ran fine. However, I just went out to start it again and it cranked over and over but wouldn't fire. I left it a while and tried again. This time it took several tries but did eventually start; however, for the first minute or two it ran really poorly - pushing on the accelerator would not bring any engine tesponse other than nearly cause it to die. After a minute or two it ran absolutely fine though. I took it for a little spin, turned it off and it started agaib straight away and ran fine.

Could it be bad petrol or some dirt somewhere?

Thanks

Hi Darren,

No idea! It had a service 2 inspection about eight weeks ago....not sure if that was included though.

I'd let them have another look Cassie, I can't be sure if the plugs get changed at Ins2 or not, more mileage based iirc, plugs are a relatively cheap fix though and easy enough to find a dud one, failing that maybe a coil in on the way out?

There are many more guys on here much more qualified than me and I'm sure they'll be along soon with some advice
