Engine noise

I've been to view a 3.0 tonight. When it was cold it had a very slight rattle at tick over, took it for a run and when we stopped it developed a weird chirping noise at tick over.
Bit gutted as the car was lovely. Any idea what it could be?
I videoed it on my phone but can't seem to upload it to here

Difficult to tell without being there, loose disa valve perhaps? How many miles has the car done?

Will be a hole/s in the intake boot.
I'll stake my life and the life of my cat on it...

Edit
Missed the link for vid. Just watched it. Not so sure its intake boot now although check it for holes anyway cos a holy one will produce chirp/chirrup/whistle noise.

Could be as rob suggests, a knackered disa. Pull it out and inspect. Especially if the flap pin is loose. Have a butchers on youtube. nathan's DIY has a vid i think.

Failing that, dunno. Done obd scan?

It was a car for sale I went to look at. Had agreed a deal and was going to pick it up this weekend, just went for a quick test drive and then the noise started.
Seller has said he will take it to his usual garage but I thought I would ask upon here to see how serious it sounded.
Thanks

Not sure it's relevant but I also noticed the radiator fan randomly starting and stopping even though the gauge stayed in the centre.
