After some guidance and advice please for my 2003 2.2.
Been running fine and then Monday morning, started and ran lumpy and threw up an EML.
Plugged in my code reader and got P0303 - engine misfire cylinder3.
Initial train of thought was coil pack or spark plug for cylinder 3.
Unplugged all coil packs for other cylinders (1/2/4/5/6) one by one - all had a drop in engine performance so I know they are working.
Unplugged 3 and no change - hence problem cylinder
Swapped working coil pack off 2 with 3 and still no change which suggests original coil from 3 was ok
Did same process for spark plugs, still no change.
What next? Injectors?
Annoying thing is that I cannot clear the code down either which suggests something more sinister.
Any help/advice/suggestions would be very welcome
