Hi,
Came to my car this evening which has been parked up for 12 hrs having driven to the train station this morning which is only about 2 miles, started fine this morning despite it being 0c but when i got back to my car this evening it started fine but was juddering a little due to it being frosted over and -2c but as i reversed out the engine managemend light came on and the car had very little power and was very sluggish, drove home and let the car warm up to full temperature switched the engine off took key out left it 30 secs then started the it up again and the engine management light went out i then revved it and the light came back on took it out for a short drive again but despite the engine being upto temperature it was still sluggish as if it had just been started from cold and the engine management light is still on. Had a listen to the engine and its idleing erratic and the engine sounds very raspy with a blowing knocking type sound, Help any ideas please, Its a 2004 3lt Z4 btw.
