I had several forums saying "hydraulic lifters" and that the solution was to rev the car for 1/2 minutes at a stationary position at 3000RPM as the air gets sometime trapped in the lifters and requires stable conditions to escape again - can be cause by lot of town driving, as for me I mostly use the car to get my ass down to school so I am often in traffic

It's a strange one. It only happens when its fully warmed up. Some days it sounds louder than others. I could let the car tick over with the nose pointing downhill and the noise would not be there. If i had the front of the car pointing uphill then it produced the same sound as in the video's.
Luckily i've got the BMW comp warranty. I may just take it back to Sandal. They've been pretty good with me in the past but i've a £100 hit to take if i have work done under warranty. A few months ago one of their technicians said it was the sound of the oil pump in the sump but with other people saying their cars sound nothing like that it's causing me concern. It definitely didn't sound like that when i had the new pump put on in January.
If i get chance this week i'll check the pulleys and the DISA. If it's neither of those then its one for the dealer to fix. It may be a bit more complex than just changing the oil pump this time.
Thank again
