Engine/Fuel/Computer problem

Occasionaly (4th time now) when I'm traveling very slowly, lets say rolling to a red light, the rpms will drop to idle and the gas pedal cuts out. Input to the throttle has no effect. If I shut the ignition and start it back up everything works fine. Yes, I know I have to bring it to the stealer, but I was hoping someone knows what this is then at least I'de have a fighting chance.

I have had a similar problem excet it happens randomly at any speed. Maybe once a month the throttle will cut out, a few warning lights appear on the dash and the revs drop and bounce from idle to about 1200 or so. Turning the car off and back on again solves the problem temporarily. No ideas about the cause yet.
