engine fault code clear codes obd2

Hi my engine management light is on im being told it may be my cats faulty as it emmisions problems and because iv spend 1.5k on the car on repairs so far im going to leave the repair until next year does anyone know if this can clear the fault

Retrieve Fault Codes (DTCs) and clear Check Engine lights,

Looks like it might be able to do it.
