Engine Error codes...

I thought my engine management light was on, turns out it was the fault bulb light i had my m8 at the garage plug in his diagnostics tool, came up with codes - 29B6 cylinder switch off and 28AE torque control limitation, I can't seem to figure out what these are, anyone have any idea?

I know the ECU will disable individual cylinders when it detects excessive knocking from that one cylinder. I suppose there may be other reasons to shut down a cylinder as well. Absolutely no idea about torque control, at least as related to engine management. If the trouble light was not actually triggered, it may be nothing to worry about, but it would be nice to understand any potential problems that may be developing.

Yea totally... well it might have had something to do with the fact that one day I started the car and it sounded like it was firing on only a few cylinders, it was very rough and miss firing. I have since then cleaned up the plugs with a sand blaster and not had any trouble. The torque control limitation thing is the puzzling one.. will see if i can find out. I'm going to get my m8 to plug his ECU thing back in and see if those errors have reappeared. If so i will look into it.
