Engine cuts out

Hi, I have a 2008 Z4M Coupe, the engine has cut out a couple of times recently, wondering if anyone has any ideas? When you push the clutch down the revs drop a fraction then come straight back up, however at least 3 times it has cut out! No warning lights and starts up with no problems.

Sounds like the issue that's been posted on here a few times.

Change the offending throttle position switches, one is on the throttle actuator under the air intake and requires some fiddly removal of the airbox and air intake, the other one is the black thing screwed to the front of the throttle butterfly bar just behind the oil filter housing.

I changed both and they are the same part number - there is a big thread worth reading in this section if you search for throttle switch/sensor.

get it plugged in and see if you get a plausibility code, may show and underlying issue??

I had this, changed the two tps's, worked better for a while, but now its back to stalling occasionally, and the slight hesitation of pull away.

Kinda used to it now, just part of the M/// character now!

I also had an new air flow meter at a similar time
