the block on my car has the dreaded corrosion/whitening starting,whats the best treatment for this?
 
Yes, the WD stands for Water Displacement...that is what is was developed to do. It is useful for cleaning metal but it is a poor lubricant

And the "40" bit......? Because it was the 40th attempt they had at getting the formula right.

Correct Greeno...Had the product been developed in the UK it would have been labelled WD1 :wink:
 
not easy to access all of it but managed to spray wd and use a saucepan brush has taken care of a lot of it.
