engine block care

the block on my car has the dreaded corrosion/whitening starting,whats the best treatment for this?

WD40 - use it about twice a year, sparingly on a cloth.

X2. In general wd40 drives away moisture and prevents it from accumulating.

Yes, the WD stands for Water Displacement...that is what is was developed to do. It is useful for cleaning metal but it is a poor lubricant

Correct Greeno...Had the product been developed in the UK it would have been labelled WD1 :wink:

not easy to access all of it but managed to spray wd and use a saucepan brush has taken care of a lot of it.
