Engine black cover/silver cover

I have seen some Z's (same model/same year)with black engine covers and some with silver engine covers..

Apart from the colour,is there any significance ?
 
I asked the same Gary just after i purchased mine ,
Of no significance i was told 8) what you got ? i like the silver but have black :oops:
 
Have you a "wrap"contact ? Got the 330 booked in for this saturday , roof & spoiler in gloss black for £100 all done ?

I have a guy close to us.....£100 is cheap though for what ya having done. Pics when done..;)

same guy did the windows on previous golf & it was faultless ,
Polish fella has a small unit not far from me , wouldn't like him to mess it up though cause he measures the same width as a gable end :(
Must be a softy though with a name like Gabriel :wink:
 
I have a polish friend called Michal.....He is 6ft 7" and nearly as wide,what on earth are they fed as babies?

Lovely chap and wouldnt hurt a fly,although you would never guess it... It does hurt my neck to talk to him though..

Get a quote off your man at weekend about the cover wrap and see if its viable with the heat off the engine..
 
Yeah i will do , had never thought of that & hope he doesn't think i'm trying to take the pissy ?
Wouldn't want him chasing me around his unit :P
