Engine bay bolt upgrade billet washer and stainless

Hello fellow Z fans,

My engine bay could do with a freshen up as is now 14 years old and has original fixings.

Has anyone tried to source stainless Allen bolts and billet washers to fit please. If so where?
 
Aren't most stainless bolts lower tensile Donald?

You could speak with Johnston & Bulman in Carlisle.
Richard, one of the directors is very knowledgeable and probably delivers into D&G ... he also loves his cars :D
 
My understanding is that ST/ST bolts do not have the tensile strength of HTS bolts used for anything demanding. They may be ok for fixings that do not need much strength, but for any safety critical application it is not worth risking it.

Good observation I had completely overlooked function over form! Maybe just buy some fresher original ones!
