The filter shown is a Mann 10 261 33 S01. So K&N attached to front side of air box and this Mann filter on the opposite side (throttle body side).

There ability to filter out fine dust is very poor plus their performance as they clog up with dirt is also poor.
For most people most of time a high quality OE class filter in the OE air box is the way to go![]()

Well its conceivable it was made for it, but not intended to mate with a K&N.javis20 said:enuff_zed said:Do you think maybe someone lifted the lid just enough to fit the K&N, didn't see the other filter stuck in the top half and assumed there wasn't one fitted?

Funny thing is, it looks like the filter was made for that airbox, but it's not even listed in the Mann catalog. Only thing written on it is Mann 10 261 33 S01. It even had dimples that were pressed into small holes in the air box.
