Ok, still having problems with my beloved Z.
Every now and then I turn the ignition and nothing happens , the EML light appears on the dash , I then try it a few times and it works , really bizarre but very irritating.
I took it to a local garage last week, he said it might be the key , next time it happens try the spare key, but using the spare key the problem still persists. They also hooked it up to a laptop and couldn’t find any error codes.
I took it back in there this morning for the guy to have another look. He used to work as a mechanic at BMW for 25 years so I got some trust in him plus he didn’t charge me for looking at it last time round , which was a nice gesture.
I just wished i knew what it was
