EML on after changing battery

Yeah it is on the v register. I was wary at first but had a look and there was no damage to boot floor - rippling / crumpling etc inspected the suspension and couldn't find anything wrong. Logic was if there's a problem I have funds left in the kitty. Good point about the eml though if it stays on. Hopefully fully charged original battery will solve the problem.

* UPDATE * been to local mechanic today and he looked at car cos even with new battery it was drained again after a week :( anyway couldn't find anything that appeared to be draining the power, not earthing out anywhere but then checked the alternator. The alternator was in fine order but wasn't correctly connected! Contact points cleaned and firmly reconnected, eml codes read (relating to change of battery only) and reset. Total cost.......23 quid. Result! Just hoping the diagnosis is right :)

Was only charged half hour labour, must've been an obvious solution. So simple I feel a bit stupid really ha ha. As for clearing the fault, I think he did it for free cos he did a few diagnostic things for my old five.
