EML light on **Now Solved**

So picked my car up from Daren Wood today, also treated it to a gruppe m induction kit.

All was going fine till I got back home, and the EML light came on. Car drives fine, is this normal after fitting this kit?

Apart from this the car is great and sounds amazing!

All seems very tight to me, Darren wood fitted it too.

I had similar problems when I put the supposed plug & play Simota intake on, but after talking to them they admitted that some cars require a 'settling in period' or sometimes remapping. I'd done about 2,000 miles with it on, and with the engine cutting out when using full throttle, so I told them the 'settling in period' was rubbish and I'd like a refund.

I think pilchardthecat had a similar issue with his.

Never heard of this happening with the Gruppe-M one though.

UPDATE....

The EML light was caused by the exhaust side camshaft sensor. It seems to be an intermittent fault,

It's strange as it was only replaced a couple of months ago. It's now in with BMW under parts warranty
