Just hooning about today when the EML and the DSC lights
came on (in amber) lost all power so had to pull in and stopped
it was running ok at tick over so turn it off waited a bit restarted
and all ok so a bit :? can anyone help?

Presumably an engine malfunction? Perhaps get a code reader to find out what went wrong, or take it to a specialist/dealer for them to check the codes/car?

I doubt anyone here will tell you exactly what it was, could be anything...

If there are no lights still on, and the engine is running ok etc, it may have just been a one off glitch.

If you want peace of mind, I would take the car to a dealer or indy, as suggested above. It's the only way to be sure.

Little faults like this really annoy me. Might be nothing to worry about, but are still a PITA, and will leave you wondering what the issue was until you've parted with £££ to find out.

Hope it's nothing major. I had the DSC and Brake lights come on a while back, turned out to be a wheel rotation sensor... Not a big spend to fix it, but still annoying.

It's got me thinking i had the DSC switch disconnected today,
maybe that had something to do with it!!!!!!!!!!

mine did weird stuff like this when the battery dropped a cell......

check your battery before anything else..... is your clock zero'ing??

Will do  i take it you are talking about the "time" clock?

Even if the light is off the computer still has the last fault codes stored and a garage will be able to read them to tell you what went wrong.

I also had a battery go but it was without any warning whatsoever.
