Out of interest Andy, what indy are you using? I tend to use Beverley Motor Works (BMW - do you see what they did there) and they sorted a very similar problem on my old Mini JCW. May be worth trying before going to the stealers: http://beverleymotorworks.co.uk/

I know what you are saying mate-its just that the stealers have told me they can properly pinpoint the problem instead of using the process of elimination by said indy-BS or not i dont know

Andy, sorry to hear that mate. You can get stuff to add to the fuel which is specifically for the cat, I think slick 50 make it... maybe try adding it and see if the light goes out.
