I have a brake question. I have owned an e86 previously and the brakes on that would make the car stand on end. Are the brakes on a preface lift 3.0i smaller/different? Addmittedly i havent hit the brakes hard in the 85 yet but the initial bite just doesnt seem to be as aggressive. :?

Yes they are smaller on prefaclift hence the common upgrade to larger 330d disks which will be the same as the Post facelift 3.0's

That said a stock Zed will still stop on a dime on standard brakes.
I suggest empty road and test properly that you can get the abs working

No on both accounts. Changed my 330d fo the 85 so can feel the difference. They arent bad might research the upgrade though..
