Emergency Light Button

Does anyone else think that the emergency lights button has been improperly placed too close to the unlock/lock door button? I sometimes find myself turning on the emergency lights while I'm driving. I like how new cars automatically lock your doors as you start gaining speed.

Cant you get your car programmed to do that? Read somewhere we should be able to....

Sure can. Not sure if the auto locks ever became a standard item on the cars or not. But yeah, can get the dealer to do it. Some other neat little options too, like a quick beep of the horn when you lock the car by key, some other stuff.

Emergecny light button! That threw me for a minute, I prefer to call them twat lights, as most of the times you see them it's because someone has parked somewhere they shouldn't...

I meant I try to lock the doors as I'm driving. :D Another quirk of mine is how people try to break the door handle as they try to exit the vehicle! I personally prefer having to open the door handle once to unlock and a second time to open but it seems most people who ride with me aren't aware of that feature. :headbang:

My doors auto lock as well as my F-150. I like that feature. I DO NOT like the double pull it takes to open the doors...

I have auto/electric seats with the memory options, but they do not change position when my wife or I drive the car with our respective keys. I think this would be a cool feature. Do I have to take it to the dealer to get this activated?
