Is it normal to have the ///M logo embossed on the seat headrests?

I only ask as I met another Z4MC owner last week and his red interior had ///M logos embossed in his - he pointed out that mine were missing, but I just assumed it was I have the individual extended champagne and thay they didn't bother doing the embossing in them.

Anyone else with a individual interior got the embossing, or anyone with a standard ///M interior not got the embossing?

Have you checked the bonnet to see if the creases are missing and under the bonnet to see if it's a 3L engine.....

:P

I don't want to add any, and am thinking of removing the 3 external ones on the car anyway, but if it's something you've paid for, you'd expect it to be there.

I bet most 'individualised' owners didn't even realise there was supposed to be embossing there.

Although now that I know I haven't got them, I'm missing them

took my outside 3 //Ms off.. car looks infinitely better IMHO :)

I can't do that now either, as I'll be accused of copying :headbang:

I'll have to put more on then

Or, if I follow my normal naming scheme, it'll be 432i to complement my 538i and 536i :P

when i looked into this when buying i figured only the standard interiors have them, all the individual interior don't... both mine, champagne nappa on my current one and blue/grey new england on the old one didn't

You can never beat me... :P

But mine are true - 536 for a 3.6 5-series, 538 for a 3.8 5-series, and 432 for a 3.2 4-series.

yup i've taken off my 3 external M badges as well. You know it's an M when it goes bye and into the distance. I reckon there's too many badges on the thing anyway and subtlety is the key.

I even removed my Nurburgring sticker even though i actually bought and applied it after the car had been on the track. They're cheap on Ebay and too many chavs have put them on Corsas that wouldn't be allowed in the ferry as they're too crap. You don't need badges to remind you.

Are you saying you don't believe I have dropped a Hemi into it???

Because you're right.
