Email Notification (to include new post)

Hi, i receive an email each time someone replies to a post that i am subscribed to...

This is the same for many other different types of forums that i am a member of however there when i receive an email from other forums, the new post is included in the email... is there a setting that i can select for this or does the forum not support this feature, thanks in advance

I'd like this too There are no prefs to control this it's something the admin needs to enable.

User CP, Board Preferences, Edit Posting Defaults and check the appropriate box

Don't think you understood fully... Most other boards actually provide the content of the new post in the notification email. That's what I would prefer. Wouldn't stop me from visiting the forum to reply etc just makes it much easier to keep up with watched threads.

Moderators... would you consider adding this feature as most other forums have this...

Ah - OK - the email just has a link to take you to the thread or most recent posts on the tread.

Never even thought about it as it's so easy on laptop, iphone to just click the link if interested

And the answer is that it's not supported natively on this version of the board.

Will look at it in a future release if it can be done.
