I've done elvington before , it's basically an old air strip . With my experience a "lap" is not a proper race track lap as you precieve it , it's basically up a straight old air strip with a cone at the end and back down . So six laps would equal 12 straight runs If you get my meaning nothing like six laps at silverstone
That would be my only negative other than that it was a good experience.
We payed for my son to do a track day this year, be prepared for plenty of hanging around. They kept trying to entice people who were waiting, to get into the newer model cars, but at a price. When he got in the car, most of the time he was being told to keep over so faster drivers could pass as "they were on their FAST lap". When he got to his fast lap (100 MPH) he said other slower cars where not moving over around the circuit.
Hope you enjoy it
Done a few of these days in an AUDI R8 V8 . NISSAN gtr, Aston Martin v12, and a Porsche 996 turbo, to me they can be let down by an over zealous so called instructor , but go do it, I only had one iffy instructor the others were fine, I loved the AUDI
