Ellipsoid alloys for sale

I took these off my recently purchased car as I wanted a different look.
They could do with a refurb or maybe just a DIY job & run them with winter tyres.
standard staggered setting 8x18"& 8.5x18"
Unfortunately on closer inspection the 2 rears have been welded about 1" on each.
It's not a recent repair & from what I know of the 2 previous owners of the car (both forum members) they've done a lot of miles with them like this.
£150+ delivery

I know, I didn't have a clue till they were off.
I've black csl replicas on now.

Do you think the price is fair?

Hi..

As they have been welded, - I suggest you take the 4 rims to a tyre fitting place and get them to spin the wheels, on a wheel balancing machine, - to make sure they ARE: round; straight and true..

Simply, as they have obviously had a severe enough impact to make the 2 rears crack, in one location, each..
Generally, from experience, it would suggest that they may be minor flat-spotted, around where the cracks are also.. Unless, that was sorted, by whoever welded them - which could be the case however..

Validating the Alloy Wheels true condition, would possibly enhance the sale-abilty, IMHO..
Nothing worse than buying wheels, potentially - with hidden problems..

GLWTS..

Cheers..

Thanks for that advice, I've gave the insides a good rub down & will take them to my local tyre place to check. Slightly tempted to give them a DIY refurb/colour change as I've done it before with decent results.

So After a long Xmas break where I never looked at them I've taken the alloys to a garage & had them tested, their happy that there round & true.
I was gonna give them a DIY refurb ( started rubbing down the back of one of them) but due to moving house soon I've no time or space to continue.
The new price is now £150 + delivery, I'll throw in a set of good condition mats that I've replaced too
Thanks for reading
Cheers
