Electronic whine

Appreciate if anyone can help tell me if this is normal or diagnose if not..

Upon start up and for sometime afterwards there a noticeably annoying, high pitch electronic whine from somewhere behind the dash. To be clear it's not coming from the speakers and turning off the radio/AC doesn't make any difference.

I can't quite figure out yet if it goes away or I become de-sensitised to it after 10 mins or so.

Any ideas?

Cheers

Could be anything really.
Maybe a video would help give an idea?

Agree. My pal has a E63M and has a whine, like a supercharger - pretty sure it's the power steering pump...

The air pump to speed up the warming of the catylitic converters will make a noise but only for the first minute or two usually, round black plastic device on the drivers side suspension turret.

Thanks for all the suggestions. Nothing can be heard from the engine bay. However, I now suspect the sound is coming from the door speakers (even if the radio is off). So could be some kind of grounding issue?

Good luck to me tracking that down!
