Heya folks
so my zed has been sitting around for 16 months and I have just 2 weeks ago pulled it outta moth balls...water pump has sprung a leak so I ordered a Graf unit and will fit it once received BUT the biggest issue is my roof has decided to play up.
The motor buzzes over without noise I can hear it working perfectly but the hydraulic side of things doesnt seem to be working correctly.
It trys to work but jerks and then stops. On the way up it sort of slumps back down and then jerks upward again and then falls backwards until you give it a helping hand and close it while motor engaged.
There is an associated noise like it is trying to bleed up or something like that. Quite loud
As it produces the "noise" it trys to works and then falls silent but the motor still whirs away quietly.
Should I persevere and help work it up and down as it tries to do the business ...in essence bleeding the system or should I just pull the motor and pump out and be done with it,,,,thoughts.
