can anybody beat this .came home from work z4 parked in my farm yard has not been out for two weeks the internal light was on the widows madly going up and down the boot came open .unlocked the car satinit the alarm went off the roof opned fully .after playing silly bugers with the lock and widows it all stoped i locked the car went in .next morning looked out to see the roof was down luckly it did nt snow that night any ideas whats gone wrong any way to put it right.
 
Ummm have your thought of calling a priest to exercise an exorcism? Sounds like your car is possessed!!!
 
Give it a good kick, maybe its a transformer? :D

there have been a few reports about the roof all of a sudden coming down but nothing to this extend i dont think. if there is no obvious solution take it to the dealer, they might run a diagnostic and tell you.

is it under warranty?
 
i think ive solved the problem .took the battery out found 30mm of water down there dried it sprayed it with wd 40 perfect know more problems .NOTE TO EVERYONE READING THIS CHECK FOR WATER DOWN IN THE BATTERY AREA.
 
Water in the bottom of the battery box will not itself cause the problems but it's indicative that other things might have got wet to cause the problem.

I'd want to track the water leak that let that much in - boot seal, roof drains blocked, rear lights, etc.
 
well when the battery get its feet wet why shoud that give a problem????

i think the problems come from water leakage on the electric components
