electrical nightmare....

i just bought a 04 z4 e85. and im having electrical issues. the blinker works sometimes then it doesn't ,low beam works then it doesn't work,ac stopped working....turn the key off and some times the dash light stay on..power locks stop working./and the top when down by it self the other day while the car was parked, i think its possessed Im thinking of naming her christine, she is also red..lol any help will be appreciated....thanks in advance

Did the car not show similar gremlin's during testdrive ?

no i bought it 4 month ago this just started last week it also drains the battery.

Probably the battery at fault. All sorts of electrical gremlins start when the battery is on the way out.

A new Bosch battery is about £60-70 so not that expensive.

First step change battery as said. How often do you use the car?

i use the car every day...gonna try to swap the battery. i also notice battery possitive terminal real hot when running. i check with a voltmeter the voltage before the terminal is 14 .2 and at the terminal is 13.7..any ideas...ty

Does the the connection on the battery seem tight, if loose an a bad connection it will potentially be arcing

Could be battery, could also be an earth fault/corrosion.
